Speak Up has compiled the following information to assist people who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) in accessing sexual health and counseling services in Hamilton. Please note that the agencies on this list have either attended an orientation on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) by Speak Up, have experience working with people who use AAC, or have expressed a willingness to extend their services to people who use AAC. Speak Up provides this list as a resource, however Speak Up is not in a position to endorse individual agency services.

Counseling and advocacy. 24 hours. Anonymous. Diverse Communities Outreach Public Education	Willing to see AAC users. Wheelchair accessible – except for elevator buttons and front door. Counseling services for women (16 years and up) who have experienced sexual violence recently or in the past. Men and people under 16 years of age can call the crisis line or the business office for a referral. Will be flexible around length of counseling session. Some materials available on audiocassette. Staff trained in disability issues.
