Effective Practice Guidelines

Speak Up hosted a number of focus groups to share findings and perspectives of people who use AAC, identify current service gaps and propose effective practices to reduce the risk of abuse for AAC users.

Guidelines presented here emerged from the focus groups and reflect the overall group recommendations. They are not necessarily endorsed by each individual agency.
