  • Communicating with attendants for people who use AAC and for attendant service providers
  • Safety for people who use AAC
  • Starting up a Communication Assistant Service
  • Equitable services for people who use AAC

Consultation

Contact ACCPC to arrange consultations on a fee for service basis. Please note: ACCPC does not provide clinical services.

ACCPC offers consultations to individuals, families and service providers on:

  • Issues relating to any of its projects
  • AAC service structures, waiting lists and staff development
  • Communication accessibility to community sectors and businesses

Collaboration

Contact ACCPC to provide input to organizations and projects about communication accommodations for people who use AAC.

Court Support

On a fee for service basis, ACCPC offers experienced AAC communication support and expert witness support for people who use AAC during legal and court proceedings.

Watchdog

When possible, ACCPC represents the needs of people who use AAC to federal and provincial government agencies and policy makers.

Professional Development

ACCPC hosts regional workshops for the AAC community and engages world leaders to speak on key topics.
